Greetings to all Riders, Officials, Team Support and Visitors.

It is very excited that the FEI Asian Championships 2019 is coming to Pattaya on 1-8 December!!

Back in December 2017, the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) and Thailand Equestrian Federation (TEF) have aligned goals to create the sustainable Asian Continental Championships that is in line with the long-term sustainable growth of the sport in Asia region, with the ultimate goal of the Asian Championships becoming Olympic Qualifying Events in the not too distant future.

This will be the first ever Asian Championships with all 3 Olympic disciplines and is regulated under the FEI Continental Championships. TEF, with the expertise guidance by FEI, will be the co-hosts of the Event, in a beautiful setting of Thai Polo & Equestrian Club Pattaya, one of the biggest equestrian and polo facilities in Asia.

The Asian Championships will be held every 2 years. Together with the Asian Games, Asian Athletes will have 3 high-level championships in every four-year period and will encourage continuity in their training and competitions.  This is expected to stimulate the sport and the industry in the region with increased number of events leading up to these Championships.

The Asian Continental Championships is an event created by #AsiansForAsians and is also expected to benefit technical officials, organisers and other stakeholders of the region.

We look forward to welcoming you all to Pattaya City, the major destination in Thailand, which is only 20 minutes from the official Venue, Thai Polo & Equestrian Club, and we are very much hoping Riders and Team members, as well as Visitors will enjoy this event!
